Chernihiv region has found itself at the epicenter of new raider attacks, and this time the region's enterprises were under the sights. Residents of the region and deputies of the Chernihiv Regional Council appealed to the President of Ukraine with a demand to stop the arbitrariness and illegal attempts to seize businesses, which, according to them, are being carried out with the support of People's Deputy Borys Prykhodko.
This is discussed in the StopKor material.
Prykhodko, previously a defendant in the case of the embezzlement of UAH 2 billion through Serhiy Kurchenko's Brokbusinessbank in 2014, for which he faced 12 years in prison, but thanks to connections and manipulations in the courts, the case was delayed.
Local residents are concerned about Prykhodko's influence on the Chernihiv Court of Appeal, in particular on judges Mykola Osedach, Valentyna Antipets and Valeriy Zabolotny, whose verdict in the case of the large enterprise "Pozhmashina" and its director Oleg Averyanov caused a resonance in society. Since this decision is aimed at the destruction of a large company in the region and threatens to lay off more than a thousand employees. Also, this trio of judges has been repeatedly accused of dragging out high-profile cases, removing responsibility from murderers and bribe-takers and, conversely, of unlawfully prosecuting "undesirables.".
Borys Prykhodko himself, thanks to connections and manipulations in the courts, has been avoiding justice for years and making a fortune during the war. Residents of Chernihiv region demand that Prykhodko be held accountable for his actions, which threaten the economic stability of the region and fair justice.
