Chernihiv Oblast found itself at the epicenter of new raider attacks, and this time the region's enterprises were targeted. Residents of the region and deputies of the Chernihiv Regional Council appealed to the President of Ukraine with a demand to stop arbitrariness and illegal attempts to seize business, which, according to them, is being carried out with the support of People's Deputy Borys Prykhodyk.
This is stated in the StopCor material.
Prykhodko, previously involved in the embezzlement of UAH 2 billion through Serhiy Kurchenko's Brokbiznesbank in 2014, for which he faced 12 years in prison, but thanks to connections and manipulations in the courts, the case was delayed.
Local residents are worried about Pryhodek's influence on the Chernihiv Court of Appeal, in particular on judges Mykola Osedach, Valentina Antipets and Valery Zabolotny, whose verdict in the case of the large enterprise "Pozhmashina" and its manager Oleg Averyanov caused a public outcry. Because this decision is aimed at destroying a large company in the region and threatens to cut more than a thousand employees. Also, this trio of judges was repeatedly accused of delaying high-profile cases, removing responsibility from murderers and bribe-takers, and, on the contrary, of unlawfully persecuting the "unsatisfied".
Boris Prykhodko himself, thanks to connections and manipulations in the courts, avoided justice for years and made a fortune during the war. Residents of Chernihiv region demand that Pryhodek be held accountable for his actions, which endanger the economic stability of the region and fair justice.
