Zlata Ognevich spoke about her military father

The famous Ukrainian singer Zlata Ognevich shared a touching story about her father, 69-year-old military doctor-surgeon Leonid Hryhorovych. He has been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and saving the lives of the wounded in the Kharkiv direction.

The actress said that, despite her age, her father cannot leave the service. "Every time my father comes on a short vacation, he says he can't go anymore. After all, operating at his age is difficult. But after recovery, he returns to the front," Zlata shared in an interview with "Closer to the Stars". According to her, her father always says: "You can't wait", which testifies to his indomitable spirit and dedication to service.

Zlata also actively helps Ukrainian defenders. She holds charity concerts to support the military. "I started going to concerts before it became mainstream. I sleep in beads and dream of a bed that doesn't go anywhere. A normal trip to the military looks like this: we leave Kyiv, drive hundreds of kilometers, give a concert, then move again, do a second concert and return home," the singer said, emphasizing the importance of supporting the military in these difficult times.
