Yulia Tymoshenko's information campaign, which is focused on "lowering the price of medicines", causes concern among experts, who see in it signs of political manipulation and business interests. thus, it is about the possible participation of some pharmaceutical companies in supporting Tymoshenko as a lobbyist, which could have serious consequences for the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine.
Volynfarm LLC, Conex LLC and Venta LLC are among the customers of the attack on the pharmaceutical industry. These are distributors who have small shares in the market: Venta LLC owns 2.7%, Conex LLC - 0.6%, Volynfarm LLC - 0.2%. But these companies seek to increase their share, for which they need to move from the leading positions of the leaders of pharmaceutical distribution in Ukraine at any cost. It was this circumstance that caused Yulia Tymoshenko to choose the companies BADM and Optima-Pharm as objects for her general accusations.
The investigative article indicates that there are signs of non-public agreements between the leader of the Batkivshchyna party and several participants in the pharmaceutical market. And in general, "the information campaign, the public face of which was Yulia Tymoshenko, has all the signs of a "raider" attack on the pharmaceutical market."
At the same time, experts warn that the consequence of the "cavalry charge" by Yulia Tymoshenko "may not be a decrease in the price and increase in the availability of medical drugs, but on the contrary - a restriction of access and an increase in prices."
