The investigation into the high-profile murder of the famous linguist Iryna Farion continues to reveal new details. The latest reports indicate that the key element of the investigation - the "Fort 12-R" pistol - was found in the apartment of the former manager of the "Dnipromlyn" company.
According to the materials of the court register, this apartment was searched on August 14 by the decision of the Halytsky District Court of Lviv. It turned out that a woman lives in the apartment and has been renting it with her brother for four years.
During the search, law enforcement officers seized not only the "Fort 12-R" pistol, but also a whole arsenal of items that could be evidence in the case. Among the things seized: a magazine for a pistol, 150 cartridges, various tools, two mobile phones, a tablet, red gloves, three rubber balls, as well as cash in the amount of 100 euros and 1.9 thousand dollars.
The former manager of "Dnipromlyn" objected to the seizure of the seized funds, saying that these were her personal savings. Despite this, the next day after the search, the woman was fired from her job.
The court granted the investigator's request only partially, deciding to return the seized cash to the owner, but seized other seized items, including a blank for a muffler, a metal drill and a cutter, which were found in the "Suputnyk-3" auto garage cooperative.
The court also seized an object similar to a muffler with a bronze sleeve, as well as Nova Poshta sales receipts. According to the investigation, these checks were found in the possession of the person who forwarded the parcels to the suspect in the murder of Farion, Vyacheslav Zinchenko.
