Lieutenant Colonel of the National Guard Roman Petkov, previously convicted of false declaration, filed a new declaration for 2024 - and again found suspicious changes. The Natural Wife disappeared from it, as well as two cars that were mentioned earlier. Instead, six real estate objects are declared, which look low at the cost.
The declaration is no longer featured by Nadiya Petkov - the officer's wife and a private notary who was recognized as a family member in the previous reports. This raises doubts, because in the judicial sentence, Petkov appears as married. Such a "change of status" may be an attempt to avoid declaring its property.
Despite the lack of information about the family, the declaration has a rich real estate portfolio:
-
Residential building (Limanka) - 156.2 m² for 298 thousand UAH
-
Three apartments (brand) - ~ 45–49 m², each for 242–243 thousand UAH
-
Apartment (Odesa, 69.8 m²) - 300 thousand UAH
-
Two Land Plots (Liman) - One of them in joint ownership with Oleg Kornilenko
All objects are located in the Odessa region. Three apartments purchased in one day - September 25, 2021, which may indicate a centralized scheme or investing in development.
In the declarations for 2022 and 2023, Petkov has already been exposed in concealment of property by more than 2 million UAH, so the current "correction" may be an attempt to avoid regular accusations.
In 2024, Petkov declared only one vehicle:
-
Mercedes-Benz 115D (2005)-purchased in April 2024 for 100 thousand UAH
Instead, the declaration disappeared:
-
Chrysler 200 (2015) - purchased in 2019 for UAH 72.5 thousand
-
Dodge Durango (2012) - purchased in 2021 for 495 thousand UAH
There is no explanation for their alienation, which was particularly suspicious of the 2023 court sentence, where the concealment of transport was the basis for criminal prosecution.
Revenue is pension and salary but without savings
In 2024 Petkov declared:
-
680 thousand UAH - salary in/h 3012 of the National Guard
-
176 thousand UAH - pension from PFU
At the same time, no cash or bank balances, although there are four bank accounts. This is either a sign of a complete absence of savings, or a traditional “oblivion” about money in accounts.
