Police and ambulance sirens can be heard in the background of Chaus' video message. He did not specify how many people were injured, but the Chernihiv Regional Blood Center reported that due to the "situation in the city" blood donors are urgently needed.
Local media wrote that powerful explosions were heard in the city.

In the video on Telegram channels, it can be seen that the residential area was affected - windows were broken there, bus stops were crushed.
