Yesterday, May 25, Kharkiv was again shelled by the Russian army. This time, the construction hypermarket "Epicentr" suffered a direct hit from a projectile.
According to preliminary data, at least 12 people were killed, Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military-Civil Administration, said. Another 43 people were injured, two of them are in a serious condition, and one person was taken to a burn intensive care unit. A 13-year-old child was also operated on.
Among the dead are employees of the hypermarket. According to the representatives of "Epicenter", at the time of the shelling, there were about 200 visitors in the building.

The projectile hit the premises where the paint and varnish products were stored and caused an immediate fire, reported Kharkiv Region Police Chief Volodymyr Tymoshko.
A resident of Kharkiv, Anna Gin, testified about the terrible picture of the internal hell that broke out in the "Epicenter". She watched a huge fire from the window of her house.
"It was a real hell... Saturday, there were many people there... Fifteen thousand square meters are burning... Thick black smoke is floating over the city... Photos cannot be made public yet. But take my word for it, I can see everything from the window," Anna Gin writes on her Facebook page.
Russian troops used UMPB D-30 anti-aircraft missiles to attack the "Epicenter", said Dmytro Chubenko, the spokesman of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Another blow fell on Kharkiv's Central Park on Saturday evening.
