The occupying forces of the Russian Federation (Russian Federation Armed Forces) attacked a television tower in the city of Kharkiv. According to the Army Recovery Organization (ORA), there were no casualties as a result of this attack. However, as a result of the attack, there are interruptions with the television signal in the city.
Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram on Monday, April 22.
The network published the moment of hitting the TV tower, as a result of which its upper part falls.
Sinegubov said that the employees were in shelter during the alarm. There are no victims.
"For the moment, there are interruptions with the digital television signal. That is why we appeal to citizens once again: trust only official sources of information," the head of Kharkiv OVA stressed.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on Telegram at 4:37 p.m. that the city was "very loud."
Later, the leader of Kharkiv added that the occupiers were aiming at an infrastructure object.
"Information about victims and destruction is being clarified," Terekhov wrote.
The air alert in the Kharkiv region lasted from 14:55 to 17:26. At that time, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the threat of the occupiers using ballistic weapons and the possible use of aircraft by the Armed Forces.
We will remind, on March 27, the SBU detained two FSB agents who were preparing missile strikes on telecommunications facilities in three regions. In particular, one of the suspects collected information about the technical condition of the Kyiv TV tower after it was shelled in March 2022.
