The Armed Forces of Ukraine complains about the low level of donations

A platoon commander in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the call sign “Diego,” has raised an alarm about the very low level of donations to the army. According to him, his previous collection became “a litmus test of the mood of the people in the country.” This has raised serious concerns about the morale of society and support for military actions in the fight for independence.

According to him, the collection, which was viewed by more than 15 thousand users in less than a day, was ultimately donated by only 12 people, among whom were Diego himself and his wife.

“This says a lot. I think legislators need to think about these statistics – how much people trust the army and everything now,” the military man said.

Separately, "Diego" said that in the comments to the meeting there was a lot of criticism for speaking Russian. To this, Diego replied that in the trenches in Donbas during the first period of the war, he practically did not see soldiers who spoke exclusively Ukrainian.

“Everyone spoke Russian, or Surzhik, but close to Russian.
In your opinion, if I speak Russian, I can’t be a patriot of Ukraine? Tell that to the tens of thousands of dead guys,” the military man said.
