The Ukrainian army continues its successful operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, strengthening its positions and gradually advancing deep into the region. As of today, 74 settlements are under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Over the past day, Ukrainian troops have advanced in various directions from 1 to 3 kilometers.
These results were reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, in his report to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. According to him, stabilization measures are currently being carried out in the captured territories, including inspections and ensuring the safety of the local population.
“Despite the difficult and intense fighting, the advance of our forces in Kursk continues. The exchange fund for our state is being replenished. There are already 74 settlements under the control of Ukraine. Inspections and stabilization measures are being carried out there. Humanitarian solutions for these territories are also being developed,” said President Zelensky after receiving the report.
The Ukrainian leadership emphasizes the importance of stabilization measures in the newly liberated areas, as well as the need to provide humanitarian assistance to local residents. Preparations are underway for possible negotiations with the Russian side, taking into account the current situation and the military successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The continuation of the offensive and expansion of Ukraine's control over the territory of the Kursk region indicates the high combat capability of the Ukrainian army and its ability to achieve its goals, despite difficult conditions and enemy resistance.
