The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully destroyed the assault group of the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Federation, which was previously "famous" for its abuse of Ukrainian military and civilians. This was reported by the press service of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
During the operation in one of the settlements of the Kursk region, the Russian military, which took part in atrocities against the prisoners, met a worthy response from the Ukrainian paratroopers of the 95th separate assault-assault brigade of the Polish.
"These were bastards from the 155th brigade of marines who like to show off their so-called exploits, in particular, the abuse of prisoners and the shooting of Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered," the Armed Forces said.
It is noted that the norms of the Geneva Conventions, which protect prisoners, are in force in the world, but the Russian military systematically violates them, ignoring international law. This time, the Russians' attempts to boast about their "achievements" failed — they were completely destroyed by Ukrainian forces during the battle.
The operations of the Defense Forces in the Kursk region continue, which indicates the continuation of active actions to destroy enemy forces and stabilize the situation at the front. At the same time, Russia is trying to strengthen its position by sending additional troops and equipment to the region.
