Russian invaders are actively using S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to strike peaceful cities of Ukraine, continuing to destroy residential buildings and terrorize the civilian population. On the night of August 21, units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck an enemy S-300 position near the settlement of Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov Region, Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the information provided, objective control recorded explosions at certain aiming points. The accuracy of the damage is currently being investigated. The General Staff notes that these complexes are actively used by the Russian military to attack Ukrainian cities, which leads to numerous casualties among the civilian population and serious destruction of civilian infrastructure.
"Joint combat work of all components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine against important targets of the Russian Armed Forces continues," the General Staff noted. This indicates the continuation of effective coordination of Ukrainian forces in the fight against the occupiers, aimed at destroying important enemy targets.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively destroying pontoon bridges and engineering equipment of the invaders on the Seim River, complicating their logistics and movement.
