The situation at the front continues to remain tense, the number of combat clashes between the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the Russian invaders is increasing. Since the beginning of the current day, 64 combat clashes have been recorded, which indicates intensive combat operations and active defense by the Ukrainian military.
This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces as of 17:00 on Tuesday, June 4. Terrorist troops from their positions continue shelling the border regions of Sumy and Chernihiv regions with artillery.
Thus, an artillery strike was carried out from Novy Yurkovichi (Russia) on Hrynivka, from Novaya Pogoshcha (Russia) on Staraya Guta, from Zernovoy (RF) on Khliborob, from Hurovka (RF) on Mykhalchyna Sloboda.
Kharkiv region is again under fire from the aggressor. In particular, three air strikes were carried out from the direction of Shebekino (Russia) on Vovchansk, while the occupiers used seven guided air bombs. The enemy attacked Okip and Veterinarne with MI-8 helicopters using 10 NARs for each settlement. In total, three skirmishes took place in this direction since the beginning of the day without success for the enemy.
In the Kupian direction, the Russian occupiers have become a little more active and are using aviation. Our defenders managed to repulse eight enemy assaults. Three more combat clashes continue near Stelmakhivka and Berestovo. Defense forces successfully repulse enemy attacks.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the battle continues in the Andriivka area. At the same time, the city of Slovyansk was hit by a missile. The village of Druzhba (16 unguided aerial missiles were used) and the village of Severnye (10 missiles) were also affected.
