The Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, in his statement on the national telethon, confirmed that the Ukrainian military has taken all necessary measures to protect the Sumy region from possible threats from the Russian occupiers.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence explained that currently in the Sumy region there are border attempts by Russians to break through the defense, and from time to time Russian DRGs try to break into the region. “But all the necessary measures have already been taken and there is no such scale as happened,” emphasized Kyrylo Budanov.
It should be noted that in the same interview, Budanov spoke about strikes with Western weapons on the territory of the occupier. The head of the GUR believes that strikes by the Ukrainian army with Western weapons on the territory of Russia will definitely ease the situation on the front, and Russian horror stories about "red lines" are just a game for the public.
The head of the Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate believes that the difficult period at the front is continuing, but "there will be no Armageddon." Kyrylo Budanov assures that there is no reason for serious concern, the Ukrainians will stand up and win.
