On the front line in Ukraine, new battles are taking place on the Dnipro islands after the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Krynyk. According to the Deep State military public, the situation in these territories remains tense, and fighting is now actively taking place on the islands of the river.
The Armed Forces have left Krynyk, writes the military public Deep State.
He confirms the information of the Slidstvo Info publication that now the fighting has moved from the left bank to the Dnieper islands.
"Investigation Info" also wrote that four Ukrainian fighters were killed in Krynk every day. In total, 788 are missing and 262 are recognized as dead.
As Deep State writes, the retreat from the left bank of the last fighters took place with great losses: on June 17, five fighters died from the arrival of the dugout. Six retreated to the island, but only one survived, but visual contact with him was also lost.
In general, the evacuation from Krynyk was "extremely lucky", so the losses were high.
Operations are ongoing on the islands neighboring Krynk, but the problem is a significant concentration of Russian manpower. "Over time, they will occupy most of the islands or the part that is less shot at," DS believes.
The public considers it a possible attempt by the Russians to create a bridgehead on the right bank.
"The bridgehead and most of the ridiculous orders regarding the maintenance of the bridgehead in Krynk are linked to Sodol, the recently dismissed commander of the United Forces. The bridgehead was not strengthened, but only supported. This means that sooner or later the operation will be curtailed and no one will attack Perekop. Actually, this happened in June," Deep State believes.
"Hell" was brewing for Ukrainian soldiers in Krynyk.
This was written by Slidstvo Info, analyzing the losses in the village of Kherson on the left bank of the Dnieper, from where the armed forces recently withdrew.
Journalists spoke with soldiers who visited Krynk, as well as with relatives of the dead and missing.
Most of those who were responsible for the evacuation say that the defense of Krynyk from the very beginning was "an extremely difficult task with limited resources." And since the end of winter, maintaining these positions has become a "one-way road" for many.
Boats often could not take the wounded, and it happened that soldiers lay with hastily amputated limbs for ten days, waiting for evacuation. During the evacuation flights, the death toll was in the tens.
"Many boats did not come, it happened that guys lay with severed limbs for 10 days, and the boats could not come to us. We had a very experienced doctor, he tried to stabilize everyone. Only two did not survive. Once we were waiting for evacuation, we were poisoned with gas, we all ran out, but the medic didn't have time to be taken out, he was poisoned with gas, and he died," says one of the soldiers.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Ukrainians are looking for their relatives who fought in Krynyk through social networks.
According to the stories of these people, the commanders of the armed forces told them that their son or husband had disappeared, and their bodies had not been found. According to the relatives, their colleagues saw them dead, but they could not take the bodies from the left bank.
Despite these testimonies, many of those who disappeared in Krynk were not officially recognized as dead.
One of the mothers, the commander of the unit where her son served, declared: "Be resigned, put a candle, he died." Although according to the documents, the soldier is not listed as dead. Moreover, the woman says that she was "conveyed greetings" from her son two months after he was thrown into Krynyk and he stopped contacting her.
“For two and a half months, his comrades sent me greetings from him, once a week his commander called me and said that he was doing well because his phone was turned off. We called, looked for phones, everyone told us that he was alive. And on June 17, an official letter came that he had gone missing. At least the bodies could be taken from there... these Krynks are a trap," said the mother of a soldier with the nickname "Smurfik".
We will remind, according to the police, during the battles for Krynky, 788 soldiers went missing in the village of Krynky from October 2023 to the end of June 2024. During this same period, it was possible to remove 262 bodies of dead Ukrainian servicemen from Krynyk in the Kherson region.
We will remind you that the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially declare that they still hold Krynky.
