200 thousand on the "disease" which was not there: in Lviv will be tried by a woman for fraud with social payments

In Lviv, a 36-year-old woman will sit on the dock, who has forged medical certificates about her child's serious illness to get social payments from the state budget. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The investigation found that Lviv woman provided false documents to the social security authorities to make two forms of assistance: compensation within the Municipal Nanny program and assistance to a person who cares for a sick child.

According to the case file, the child did not have any of the painful conditions indicated in fictitious certificates, but thanks to fake documents, the woman was able to receive almost 200 thousand hryvnias.

The prosecutor's office sent an indictment in court under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

  • fraud (Part 2 of Art. 190),

  • ASAGE IN THE FAILING OF Official Documents (Part 5 of Article 27 - Part 3 of Article 358),

  • Use of counterfeit documents (Part 4 of Article 358).

As for the person who helped the woman to produce false certificates, the materials were allocated to separate proceedings. Investigative actions are currently underway to establish all circumstances.

The figure threatens the real term of imprisonment.
