The family of Serhiy Payuk, head of the State Commission for Mineral Resources, has significantly increased its wealth over the past three years, but part of its income remains unexplained. According to declarations and open sources, in 2022, Payuk's total salary at the state enterprise "Nadra Ukrainy" and the State Commission amounted to almost UAH 2.5 million. His wife, an employee of "Ukrgazvydobuvannya", received about UAH 700 thousand. At that time, the family had more than USD 190 thousand in cash and about half a million hryvnia in bank accounts.
In 2023, Payuk's salary almost doubled to UAH 3.3 million. In 2024, the official's income reached UAH 5 million, and his wife earned UAH 829 thousand, receiving additional bonuses from the union. Also in 2024, the family replenished cash savings by more than $ 50 thousand in the name of his wife.
The year 2025 deserves special attention: Payuk began receiving payments from the European Commission. The State Commission did not provide any official explanations as to the reasons for such transfers from Belgium, which leaves the question of the origin of part of the income open.
Thus, over the three years of the war, the total income of the Payuk family has tripled. Part of the income remains undisclosed, which arouses interest among the public and experts in the field of public administration.
