Investigator from Uzhhorod, Maryna Mykhailivna Syatinya (Subota), who works at Police Department No. 1, declared a modest lifestyle, but recently purchased two parking spaces in a new elite residential complex of OK "ZhBK Vilny" for 830 thousand hryvnias. Interestingly, prices for parking spaces in the complex start at 622 thousand hryvnias.
The Syatyn family consists of her husband, Mykhailo Mykhailovych Syatyn, and two children. In total, the family has access to three real estate properties, but most of the property is registered in the husband's name. This is an apartment in Mizhhirya with an area of 91.62 m², an apartment in Uzhhorod with an area of 53 m², which was purchased in 2019 for 577 thousand UAH, as well as a residential building in Synevyr with an area of 134 m², owned by Maryna Syatyn's mother, Svitlana Mykolayivna Subota.
No less surprising is that the family did not declare any cars, which seems unusual for a family with two children living in a village. The investigator receives only payments as an IDP, while her husband declared fees and payments under civil law agreements in the amount of UAH 96,000.
Mykhailo Syatinya previously worked as an engineer for the restoration of natural ecosystems in the Synevyr National Nature Park and is the son of the late former People's Deputy Mykhailo Syatinya and the head of the Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the O. Bogomolets National Medical University.
Purchasing parking spaces in an elite residential complex for a significant amount with a modest family income raises questions about the sources of financing and transparency of property declaration.
