Ukrainian producer Igor Kondratyuk publicly stated that his film "at the zenith" was threatened by traveling abroad by Chief Actor Dmitry Yaroshenko. According to Kondratyuk, the artist, who played the lead role in the tape, left Ukraine at the beginning of a full -scale invasion with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and did not return.
"Already during a full -scale invasion, the main character Dmitry Yaroshenko, who was 80 percent in the frame, left with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and did not return because of the fear of being mobilized," Kondratyuk said in an interview with Janini Sokolova.
The film "In the zenith" is in production - the producer received only 40% of financing. However, the further completion of the project was virtually impossible without the main actor. Kondratyuk himself stated that he is currently a "hostage" and does not know how to continue shooting.
Dmitry Yaroshenko is a Ukrainian actor of theater and cinema, most famous for his role Vasyl Stus in "Forbidden". He also starred in the drama "Julia Blo", where he played a sniper with post -traumatic syndrome. After the start of the full -scale war, he left the territory of Ukraine and did not return to fulfillment of obligations to the crew.
The situation with Yaroshenko has once again updated the issue of the responsibility of the artists who leave the country during the war and the impact of such decisions on the Ukrainian cultural product.
