Former employee of the legal department of the Odessa City Council and the State Service for the Protection of Consumer Rights in the Odessa region, Yulia Poltavets, who changed her name to Amina, is seeking the position of an operational officer in the personal security department of the State Bureau of Investigation. Her declaration revealed significant assets and a number of controversial points.
According to documents, Poltavets owns four real estate properties:
-
a residential building in the village of Karnaukhovka, Dnipropetrovsk region (75.5 m²), registered as joint property with relatives;
-
an apartment in Odessa (39.8 m²), purchased in 2021 for 1 million UAH;
-
an apartment in Odessa (36.9 m²), purchased in 2024 for UAH 1.71 million;
-
premises owned by the Odessa City Council, which is used as a place of registration.
The total declared value of the property is UAH 2.73 million.
The information about transport attracted special attention: the declaration indicated a 2019 Nissan Maxima, allegedly purchased in 2023 for 80 thousand UAH. Experts estimate its market value at 600–800 thousand UAH.
The financial part of the declaration also looks indicative. For 2024, Poltavets declared income of UAH 2.12 million, of which more than 60% is from the sale of real estate. In particular, UAH 1.3 million was paid to her by Anna Ivanivna Molchanova. The woman also indicated a gift of UAH 250 thousand from Igor Boyko. In addition, she keeps $ 10 thousand in cash.
Despite significant income, the declaration also indicates receipt of targeted assistance from the regional council - UAH 29,000.
Thus, Poltavets' declaration demonstrates considerable wealth and at the same time contains questionable data on the value of the acquired property. Despite this, she is applying for a position in the State Bureau of Investigation, which is responsible for security and the fight against corruption.
