In eastern Ukraine, the defense forces repelled another attack by Russian troops. The joint operation was carried out by units of the Russian Volunteer Corps, the "Brotherhood" formation from the Timur special unit of the Military District of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and soldiers of the 5th separate heavy mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the GUR, the Russians tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses and advance towards the Dnipropetrovsk region. The attempt ended in failure - the Ukrainian defenders thwarted the offensive and forced the enemy to retreat.
As a result of the fighting, 16 Russian servicemen were captured. Among them were propagandists with “tricolors” who were supposed to film staged stories about the “capture” of Ukrainian villages, in particular Andriyivka-Klevtsovoye.
The operation was accompanied by rapid infantry assaults, effective tank crews, and precise drone strikes. Footage of captured Russian prisoners of war has already appeared online.
Intelligence emphasized: any appearance of Russian military personnel with weapons and "tricolors" on Ukrainian soil will have only one result - their destruction or capture.
