On the night of April 7, Ukrainian Air Defense intercepted a record low number of Russian missiles. This was reported by a source at the General Staff of the Armed Forces. According to him, for the first time in a long time, the Ukrainian military was forced to choose what the goals were to knock down and what were consciously missed.
The situation in Kiev is the greatest concern. The capital, which has been considered the most protected territory of Ukraine until recently, is rapidly losing the ability to effectively defense. That is why, according to the source, critical objects, in particular those that were placed in the capital after the start of a full-scale invasion, are the production of the military-industrial complex, which were still considered as protected as possible.
He also added that due to limited resources, some of the missiles are directed to the protection of strategic energy facilities and the rest to the defense of industrial or government agencies. In such circumstances, some goals remain unprotected.
We will remind, in March Russia intensified night attacks on Kiev and the northern regions of the country, which is accompanied by the use of a large number of "shahas" and missiles of the type "Iskander". Major General Vadim Skybitsky, Deputy Chief of GUR MOU, said earlier that the Russian Federation plans to carry out massive combined attacks with the participation of up to 500 drones and missiles at the same time.
