The expert notes that a strong immune system allows the body to withstand a small number of pathogens. For example, a piece of bread that has just begun to become moldy will not be fatal to a healthy person.
However, when consuming large amounts of moldy foods, especially by people with weak immune systems, the risk of food poisoning increases significantly.
Symptoms of a dangerous condition
As doctors warn, poisoning after eating moldy food may be accompanied by:
