In Rivne, the former head of the condominium association is suspected of illegally selling a basement space with an area of almost 300 sq m, which caused losses to the association of co-owners of over UAH 1 million. This was reported by the Rivne regional prosecutor's office.
According to the investigation, a 40-year-old man, using forged documents, sold a non-residential premises on Stepana Bandera Street on behalf of the condominium association. In this way, he exceeded his authority and caused serious damage to the association.
The former head of the condominium association has been charged with abuse of official authority of a legal entity under private law, which resulted in serious consequences, as well as forgery of documents. The issue of imposing a preventive measure on the suspect is currently being resolved.
The investigation is ongoing, law enforcement officers are verifying all the circumstances of the case and the sources of the illegal transaction.
