On Thursday, September 5, the geomagnetic situation will remain calm. According to forecasts, the Kr index will not exceed 4, which corresponds to only weak disturbances in the magnetosphere. For most people, such changes will be imperceptible, and no risks to the operation of equipment and communications are expected.
However, the situation will change the next day. On September 6, the Earth will be covered by a G1-level magnetic storm, when the Kr index will rise to 5. According to experts, the cause will be a coronal mass ejection on the Sun. According to the British Geological Survey, the storm may last several days.
Such phenomena may cause some discomfort in weather-sensitive people - pressure fluctuations, headaches, fatigue or sleep disturbances. Minor disruptions in the operation of navigation and radio systems are also possible.
How to reduce the impact of magnetic storms
Doctors advise during this period to get more rest, spend time outdoors, drink enough water, and avoid alcohol. You should also avoid excessive physical and emotional stress.
