This statement by Paris caused a sharp reaction and even hysteria in the Kremlin.
According to the report of RBC-Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmytro Medvedev informed about this position of France. Ukraine's right to self-defense is recognized as legitimate, and accordingly, the country has the right to use all available means to protect its own citizens and territory in the event of an attack.
