The mayor of the city of Bershad, Vinnytsia region, Vitaliy Dragan, who is a member of the "Ukrainian Strategy of Groysman" party, was informed of suspicion of entering knowingly false information into the declaration (Part 1, Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As reported by the detective agency ABSOLUTION, according to the investigation, in 2023 the official used a house with an area of 180 sq. m worth over 2.3 million UAH and a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150 car with an estimated value of 1.5 million UAH, but did not include this information in the declaration.
At the same time, according to the declaration for 2024, Dragan's common-law wife owns an apartment, 12 land plots, and another one jointly with the mayor. The official himself owns two land plots, rents another one from the city council, owns two non-residential buildings, and a share in a house.
The family has three cars:

Toyota HiAce (2007) - owned by the mayor;

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150 (2020) - owned by his wife;

Volkswagen Golf (2004).
For 2024, Vitaliy Dragan declared UAH 841,000 in salary, UAH 20,000 from property rental, and UAH 15,000 from the sale of movable property. His common-law wife received UAH 1.4 million from entrepreneurial activity, and also had income from property rental and sale.
The official's monetary assets amount to 1.7 million UAH and 35 thousand dollars, his wife's - 1.05 million UAH.
The sanction of Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine provides for a fine, community service, or restriction of liberty for up to two years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions.
