Almost half of Ukrainian IT specialists are considering leaving the country, according to a recent survey conducted by DOU.

According to the study, 48% of IT professionals plan to leave. Among them, 14% are already actively preparing to move. The main reasons cited are constant shelling, the risk of mobilization, and distrust of the authorities' actions.

At the same time, the same number — 48% of specialists — said they would stay in Ukraine, with 14% strongly rejecting the idea of leaving.

  • Young people under 25: more than half (53%) are considering emigration.

  • Residents of the southeastern regions most affected by the war: 15–20% want to leave.

Among those who have already left, 37% do not plan to return, 20% want to return, and another 42% are undecided about their plans.
