In the first quarter of 2025, the average wage in Ukraine increased by 24% in the annual dimension and reached UAH 23 460. Such data were published by the State Statistics Service.
For comparison, in the first quarter of 2024 the average wage was 21 473 hryvnia.
The highest salaries are traditionally recorded in the field of information and telecommunications - an average of 65 579 UAH per month. The top 5 industries with the highest salaries also got:

financial and insurance activity - 50 289 UAH;

professional, scientific and technical activity - 30 868 UAH;

wholesale and retail, repair of vehicles and motorcycles - 28 902 UAH;

Public administration and defense - 28 184 UAH.
At the same time, educators remain in the last place in terms of remuneration - their average salary is only 14 307 UAH. Lots are more than received by art workers, sports and entertainment - 16 101 UAH.
It is expected that from September 1, 2025 the situation for school teachers will be partially improved: all teachers will be guaranteed to receive a bonus from 2000 UAH to salary, regardless of the community budget. This initiative was announced as part of the State Educational Support Program.
