A tragic event took place in Donetsk region: Anastasia Volkova, a military correspondent of the Freedom TV channel, died in a traffic accident.
The event happened in the city of Sloviansk. At the intersection, a collision occurred between a Volkswagen car driven by a serviceman and a VAZ car driven by a local resident.
After the collision, the out-of-control VAZ car hit the journalist Anastasia Volkova at the pedestrian crossing.
Anastasia Volkova and the driver of the VAZ car died from the impact, law enforcement agencies say.
