The Darnytsia District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv ensured the enforcement of a court decision, according to which two land plots were confiscated from citizens of the Russian Federation in favor of the state.
As reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, the two plots of land located in the Darnytskyi district of the capital were intended for gardening and personal subsistence farming, but belonged to citizens of the aggressor country.
The district prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit in the interests of the state on behalf of the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region. In the lawsuit, the prosecutors requested that the ownership rights of Russian citizens to these plots be terminated by confiscation.
The Darnytskyi District Court of Kyiv has fully satisfied the prosecutor's office's claim. The decision has already been implemented, and the plots have officially become state property.
This is another example of the actions of the Ukrainian authorities to return the assets of persons who have the citizenship of the aggressor state to state ownership under martial law.
