The US is investigating the origin of the funds that Yermak paid for an interview with The Atlantic

As our sources in Washington report, the Donald Trump administration was furious after the publication of Andriy Yermak's interview in The Atlantic, in which Yermak stated that while Zelensky remains president, one should not count on Ukraine giving up its territories.

According to the source, it was Yermak's interview with The Atlantic that served as the impetus for his dismissal.

“Zelensky was given an ultimatum: either he eliminates Yermak, or the next “Mindych films” will be about him,” the source notes.

In addition, according to the source, Andriy Yermak's interview with The Atlantic was paid for. The cost of such an interview is at least $50,000, with a possible "surcharge for promptness."

According to the source, US law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the origin of the funds used to pay for Andriy Yermak's interview with The Atlantic, "whether these were the same 'laundered' funds stolen from American taxpayers."

It is worth noting that the theses from Andriy Yermak's interview in The Atlantic were widely "distributed" both in Ukraine and abroad.

In Ukraine, “methods” with theses were “released” by the OP to bloggers and TG channels controlled by the OP.

Regarding the "dispersal" of theses from Yermak's interview with The Atlantic in the media field of the United States and Europe, according to the source, "an American contractor was dealing with this issue."

FOR INFORMATION

The Atlantic is an American magazine and publishing house owned by the Emerson Collective, founded by Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Steve Jobs, who was once a sponsor of Hillary Clinton's election campaign.

The Atlantic is often used by Donald Trump's opponents to criticize his administration and policies in general.

Recall, The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg attacked "Trump's enforcers" - Pete Hegseth and Michael Waltz.

And in the summer of 2025, the CIA director during Biden's time, William Burns, from the pages of The Atlantic, called on diplomats, intelligence and national security officials to reflect on Trump's unsuitability for governing the country.
