The famous Ukrainian singer Kamaliya shared the details of her divorce from Pakistani billionaire Mohammad Zahoor, with whom she was married for 20 years. In her interview with the publication "Focus", the artist revealed the reasons that led to the breakup of their relationship.
According to Kamalia, the main reason for the conflicts was a misunderstanding with Zakhur's daughter from his first marriage. She noted that the girl did not want to communicate with her and did not try to find a common language. The singer, along with her daughters Arabella and Mirabella, as well as her husband, left for London at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, where the eldest daughter Zahoora lived.
Kamalia emphasized that the businessman's daughter was a constant initiator of conflicts and actively interfered in their family life. "One of Zahoor's big mistakes was that he brought us under the same roof with his children from his first marriage," she said, adding that she had a good relationship with Zahoor's son, while her daughter was jealous of her.
Kamalia said that she tried to discuss these problems with her husband, but he did not support her, but on the contrary took the side of his children. "I expected support from him as a legal husband and father of our children," she said. Constant quarrels and a tense atmosphere in the house led to the fact that the singer decided to return to Ukraine, leaving the children with their father in London.
When the daughters came to their mother, they said that their older sister wanted to cut their hair. This situation infuriated Kamalia because she had not been warned about it. She turned to Zahoor again, but his response only increased her frustration. "When I asked why such decisions were made without me, he emotionally answered: 'What do you want?' Do you want me to abandon my daughter? Then I'd sooner divorce you than leave her.' It was the last straw," the singer concluded.
Despite the divorce, Kamaliya noted that she maintains contact with Mohammad Zahoor. They often meet when she comes to London to visit her daughter.
