In the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a 21-year-old foreigner who stabbed a 20-year-old local resident during a conflict in an entertainment venue. The press service of the Kyiv police reported this.
According to the investigation, a foreigner on the terrace of the establishment began to cling to an unfamiliar girl. Her companion, a 20-year-old Kyiv resident, made a remark and tried to stop the impudent behavior. In response, the attacker started a fight, took out a knife and stabbed the victim three times in the chest and arms.
The victim was hospitalized, and the attacker was detained at the scene. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of intentional grievous bodily harm and hooliganism. The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention for the detainee is currently being resolved.
The detainee faces up to eight years in prison for the crimes he committed.
