Zaporizhzhia drone manufacturer “General Chereshnya” is being investigated as part of criminal proceedings for organizing a large-scale mobilization evasion scheme. This was reported by the ABSOLUTION detective bureau, citing materials from the Odessa police and the Special Prosecutor's Office for Defense of the Southern Region.
According to the investigation, the lawyer, in collusion with the management of LLC “Center for Research on Unmanned Systems”, which produces drones under the “General Chereshnya” brand, organized illegal services for tax evaders. Among them:
-
fictitious employment at a “critical enterprise” to obtain armor;
-
assistance in escaping from the territory of the CCC or collection points;
-
removal from the wanted list in the “Oberig” database;
-
registration of disability or incapacity to avoid conscription or travel abroad.
Law enforcement officials note that part of the scheme operated with the support of individual employees of the CCC and the Joint Service, who changed data in military registries in exchange for bribes.
The investigation involved:
-
Director of the enterprise Alexander Rusakov,
-
company founder Yaroslav Hryshyn,
-
his brother Stanislav Hryshyn.
Using their status as a critical enterprise, they provided clients with fictitious deferrals from mobilization.
On August 6, 2025, Oleksandr Rusakov was dismissed from the position of director. The new head of the enterprise was local deputy Mykhailo Prasol, who, according to the investigation, received millions in salary payments from “General Chereshnya”, thus legalizing the funds.
The proceedings have been opened under Part 3 of Article 368 (obtaining unlawful benefit), as well as Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine). Investigators are checking the scope of the scheme and the involvement of other persons in the military enlistment offices.
