The expenditure part of the Mariupol budget currently amounts to 920 million hryvnias. Another 5 billion hryvnias remained untouched in the municipality's accounts. And while thousands of Mariupol residents are trying to rebuild their lives from scratch, the city authorities are spending millions of hryvnias from the budget on unobvious needs.
For example, for 2025, the Mariupol community was allocated almost UAH 1 billion (UAH 946.3 million). The salaries of deputy mayors have increased 2-3 times since 2022.
▪️The head of MTTU Vitaliy Donev received more than UAH 1 million in 2024, although the trolleybus network in the city has been destroyed.
▪️The director of “Zelenbud” Serhiy Kesarev earned UAH 764 thousand
▪️The director of “Mariupolteplomerezh” Kostyantyn Pismarev — UAH 1.348 million, despite the absence of their utility companies in the city.
▪️The director of the housing and communal services department Serhiy Marchuk received UAH 833 thousand.
▪️The head of the municipal enterprise “City Department of Capital Construction” Oleksiy Travinchev increased his income from UAH 535 thousand to UAH 1.075 million.
In addition, UAH 2.5 million was spent on concerts and circus organizations, UAH 896 thousand on club establishments, and UAH 3.9 million on the media.
