Kyiv Mayor Klitschko on divorce and children: "Relationships have become better"

Vitaliy Klitschko, who usually avoids talking about his personal life, unexpectedly shared details about his children and relationship with his ex-wife Natalia Yegorova. In a candid interview, he talked about what his sons do and how communication in the family is developing after the divorce.

The politician's 20-year-old son, Maksym, is actively involved in sports and has linked his life with basketball. According to his father, the boy has significant potential and can continue the Klitschko sports dynasty. With a height of over two meters, Maksym already plays for the Ukrainian team, despite the fact that he was born and raised abroad. Klitschko emphasized that his son feels like a Ukrainian and plans to return to Ukraine.

The eldest son, Yegor, 25, graduated from the London School of Economics and intends to continue his education. Despite this, his father does not advise him to go into politics. Klitschko admitted that he finds the political sphere difficult and "dirty" and does not want his children to go through such challenges.

The mayor of Kyiv paid special attention to the topic of relations with his ex-wife Natalia Yehorova. After the divorce in 2022, according to him, their communication became even better than before. The former spouses maintain mutual understanding and together deal with the issues of raising three children - two sons and a daughter, Elizabeth-Victoria.

Vitaliy Klitschko emphasized that, despite changes in his personal life, family remains a priority for him, and supporting children is his main mission.
