The night attack of Russian troops on Zaporozhye on September 22 left behind serious destruction and casualties. According to Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration, 16 people were injured in the airstrikes, including a child. Four of the injured were hospitalized, and the others received medical assistance at home.
Among those hospitalized are four women who are in a moderate condition. A total of 13 high-rise buildings, educational institutions, private cars, garages and houses were damaged as a result of the attack.
According to Fedorov, Russian troops have carried out at least seven airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia and its surroundings. Work to eliminate the consequences of the attack continues at the sites of the hits: rescuers are evacuating people from damaged buildings, extinguishing fires and clearing debris. In addition, invincibility points have been opened to provide assistance to the victims.
Airstrikes on the civilian population of Zaporizhzhia are once again a reminder of the brutality of Russian aggression. Emergency services are working around the clock to assist residents affected by this overnight attack.
Such an attack on Zaporozhye became the next in a series of brutal airstrikes directed against the civilian population of Ukraine, emphasizing that civilians remain under constant threat of Russian bombing.
