Russian drones are threatened by cities and villages of Ukraine every night. The arrival can happen in any area, and no one knows for sure if the next attack will be deadly. The main rule for every Ukrainian today is to be ready, because preparedness can save life at a critical moment.
After receiving the signal about the threat of air stroke, you must act quickly and without delay. According to experts, it is necessary to prepare a "anxious suitcase" before the alarm: there should be documents, money, drinking water, painkillers, bandages and first aid kit. Warm clothing and shoes should be waiting in the hallway, there should be leash for dogs and cat boxes.
It is important to remove mirror and any glass surfaces from the corridor in advance-fragments during an explosive wave can cause fatal injuries. When the siren is heard, you need to dress immediately, take prepared things and animals and move to a safe place - ideally to cover. It is dangerous to wait if you hit your area. Every minute of delay can cost life.
In the event of arrival, a person has no more than 10 seconds for evacuation. Due to the explosive wave hearing loss, nausea, a sharp deterioration of health, so water and basic first aid kit should be at hand.
Particular attention should be paid to animals. During explosions, even the most calm pets can be frightened, ripped out of their hands or escape. That is why cats should be carried only in boxes and dogs should be kept on a strong leash. Even if your dog was never afraid of loud sounds, panic during a real attack can change his behavior.
Before leaving the house, it is necessary to cover the gas. In many cases, explosions lead to damage to gas communications, which causes fires. It is also important to leave free entrances and roads for rescue services: fast access of firefighters and doctors can save not only your life but also your neighbors' lives.
If there are aviary dogs in the house, they also need to take care of them. Even animals that have reacted quietly to shelling may be frightened by the explosion and get lost.
Ukrainians are advised not to hope for luck and do not delay the preparation "for later". Timely collected things, a thoughtful algorithm of action and a cold calculation at a critical moment can be a key to survival during another night attack.
