The head of the Desnyansk district state administration of Kyiv Maxim Bakhmatov publicly declared funds for financing personal physical protection. The reason for this step was the threats and advice of citizens after dismantling illegal MAFs in the area and the fight against the so -called "onion mafia".
“You actively urge me to think about physical protection. Especially after active action against the onion mafia, the demolition of the MAFs of the emperors. A lot of work ahead. These are wonderful tips, ”Bakhmatov wrote on social networks.
According to him, the state budget does not provide for the cost of personal protection of officials, and the self -hiring of guards is a significant financial burden. “One guard costs from 80 thousand hryvnias a month. If two is 2.4 million a year, ”he said, referring to the calculations made.
The head of the RDA proposed to organize a transparent public fee with the possibility of supporting everyone. At the same time, he recalled that one of the previous deputies of the head of the Desnyansk Regional State Administration once "broke the foot just on the street."
The next day, Bakhmatov announced that he was stopping funds by calling him a "social experiment."
“77% are ready to maintain the fight against 10-year arbitrariness of likes and angry reposts. What I consider to be a great result. In total, from yesterday, they were collected for one day from 365 days of the year, ”he wrote.
The official noted that the Kyiv community will continue to protect him, and all who wanted to help - will join joint action within the law.
Bakhmatov also remembered his work at VDNG, where in the first months he went to work with weapons because of threats. Then he opposed attempts by the raider capture of 2 hectares of land - the central parking of the complex. According to him, then in the courts managed to "repel everything".
Recall that in recent weeks, Bakhmatov has been actively engaged in the fight against illegal MAFs in the Desnyanskiy district, which has repeatedly encountered resistance and criticism from the structures close to the developers.
