On Wednesday, May 21, almost the entire territory of Ukraine will receive a portion of the long-awaited spring warmth. As UNIAN reports, the air temperature will rise to a comfortable +19°…+22°, and the sky in most regions will be clear or slightly cloudy.
It will be sunniest in the west and center of the country. In Kyiv, +22° with slight cloudiness is forecast. In Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Lutsk, Rivne, Zhytomyr and Cherkasy, forecasters promise mostly cloudless skies with temperatures up to +21…+22°.
The southern regions — Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, Zaporizhia — will also get their share of sun: daytime temperatures will reach +20…+23°. In the east, the situation is slightly different — in Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Severodonetsk, there will be rain, sometimes with thunderstorms.
On the Crimean peninsula, in particular in Simferopol, the day will be clear and warm - up to +20°.
The only weather threat remains localized rain in the eastern regions. You should be careful there, especially during thunderstorms.
Weather conditions on May 21 create favorable conditions for walking, traveling, and working outdoors. However, residents of eastern Ukraine should carry umbrellas - the rains there have not yet subsided.
