In Transcarpathia, the former head of the Beregov District Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC), Natalia Moreka, was found guilty of entering false data into the electronic declaration for 2023.
As reported by 368.media, the corresponding plea agreement was approved by the Vynohradiv District Court. The investigation established that Moreka deliberately did not indicate in the declaration a land plot with an area of 8.95 hectares with cadastral number 2120486400:10:002:0335, located in the Transcarpathian region. Her husband purchased this plot on May 24, 2023 at a price estimated at UAH 16.8 million.
The declaration filed on March 7, 2024 and corrected on April 16, did not contain this information. According to the investigation, Moreka acted intentionally to hide the fact of property ownership from state authorities and the public.
She was charged under Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (providing knowingly false information in a declaration). During the preparatory meeting, Moreka fully admitted her guilt and agreed to the agreed sentence. The prosecutor of the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor's Office supported the agreement concluded on May 27, 2025.
The court fined the former official 68,000 UAH and deprived her of the right to hold managerial positions in healthcare institutions for a year. The verdict came into effect immediately, as no civil suit was filed, no arrest was made, and there was no physical evidence.
Previously, the NACP estimated the value of the hidden plot at about UAH 9 million, but the court assessment turned out to be almost twice as much. Moreka's husband, Volodymyr Moreka, according to declarations, owns several other real estate properties in the Uzhhorod and Beregov districts.
