Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosyniak-Kamys expressed concern about the behavior of young Ukrainians who, he said, lead a luxurious lifestyle in Poland during the ongoing war in Ukraine. This statement caused a wide resonance in Polish society and mass media.
"The fact is that our society is very outraged by the appearance of young people from Ukraine who drive the best cars and spend weekends in five-star hotels. And this is unfair to the Poles, who contribute to health care, benefits, education, arms supply and other assistance," he said in an interview with the Interia portal.
He again raises the topic of the Volyn tragedy. He says that Ukraine has not made "a single good gesture" in this direction in 2 years, and now Kyiv, in his opinion, does not value Warsaw's help enough.
"If we, as Poland, had not donated all these tanks, planes and other weapons, today there would be no one to help," said the Polish minister.
