The Russian Federation is ready for a new massive missile attack on Ukraine. According to aviation expert Konstantin Kryvolap, Russian military aircraft are already equipped with Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles, which were used to strike energy infrastructure last winter.
"The Russians may have accumulated enough weapons for an air attack. Their main goal is to leave us without light and heat in the winter, and they have not given up on this strategy," the expert noted on Kyiv24.
Kryvolap reported that Russian aircraft carriers are already equipped with missiles. In particular, at the "Olenya" base, 9 boards with Kh-101 missiles are ready for use, and at the "Engels-2" airfield, another 5 boards are equipped with Kh-101 and Kh-555 missiles. According to him, there are currently no submarines that can launch "Caliber" in the Black Sea - one of them was sent to Novosibirsk.
In addition, there is a threat of strikes by "Kynzhal" missiles. Kryvolap noted that the Russians can currently use no more than three missiles of this type. Russia also has stocks of Kh-59 and Kh-69 missiles launched from Su-35 and Su-57 aircraft.
"We can expect an air attack at any moment, so we must be ready and not ignore the alarm signals," the expert emphasized.
Increasing the number of drones
Crookpaw drew attention to the growing number of drone attacks. Russia uses at least four types of drones, including Harpies, Shaheds, and Gerber reconnaissance drones. However, due to the operation of electronic warfare (EW) devices, a significant part of drones is lost before reaching the targets — already almost 50% of the detected drones do not reach the objects.
"Our anti-aircraft defenses shoot down a large number of drones, but due to their large number, some still break through, which brings us significant losses," Kryvolap added.
