On the night of June 7, Russian occupation forces launched an attack on Ukraine using drones and missiles. Explosions were heard in several regions of the country.
The attack began late in the evening of June 6, when the enemy launched several groups of attack drones (UAVs). A rocket attack began closer to the morning.
According to the Air Force of Ukraine, most of the UAVs were headed for the western and northern regions. Some of them approached Starokostyantynov in Khmelnytskyi. The rockets launched by the Russians were also mostly aimed at Starokostantiny, flying to the target in two groups, circling different areas.
As of this morning, explosions were heard in Kyiv Oblast, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Vinnytsia Oblast, Odesa Oblast, and Kharkiv Oblast.
In the Kyiv region, according to the local regional military administration (OVA), a fire broke out at one of the industrial enterprises as a result of the attack. There were no casualties.
Nothing is known yet about the consequences in other areas where the explosions were heard. There are also no reports of attacks by occupiers on energy facilities in Ukraine.
In the Kyiv region, as a result of the night attack of the enemy, which lasted for more than four hours, a fire broke out at an industrial enterprise, as reported by the head of the Kyiv regional state administration, Ruslan Kravchenko. He noted that the air defense systems worked, but the attack still caused a fire.
"There are no victims. Elimination of the consequences of the fire continues. All operational services are working," said the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
