The Security Service of Ukraine launched an investigation of a large -scale scheme of illegal disability in Vinnytsia region. According to preliminary data, it is about 24 people who received the II and III disability group, including both physicians and officials.
Some "patients" have issued a disability during martial law, some - for life. According to the investigation, it can be a falsification of medical conclusions in exchange for bribe. The purpose is to avoid mobilization and obtain a permit to travel abroad.
Under suspicion-employees of medical and social expert commissions (MSEC) who could facilitate the design of fictitious documents. All cases were transferred for checking to the profile institute of the Ministry of Health in the Dnieper. In case of unreasonableness, disability is canceled.
The investigation was opened under the Article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Violators threaten up to 8 years in prison.
The SBU continues to check, it is possible that the number of persons involved can increase.
