Our source in the Office of the President reported that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is initiating further changes to the mobilization policy. In particular, it concerns lowering the mobilization age from 22 to 20 years and banning men aged 18 to 22 from traveling abroad.
According to the source, this issue is already being considered at Bankova, but there is no final decision yet. "This option will become relevant if the war drags on for another year and the political leadership is forced to cancel the so-called election track," the source notes.
According to him, the main problem now is the lack of clear financial support from partners. Without external funding, it is difficult for Kyiv to plan long-term warfare and simultaneously prepare for the election campaign.
