Kyiv law enforcement officers detained the organizer of the international drug trade, from whom 9 kg of psychotropic substances were seized for a total amount of UAH 6.5 million. The suspect established drug sales channels through popular Telegram channels, in particular for delivering amphetamine and alpha-PVP to European countries and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, the man created and administered several Telegram channels through which drugs were sold. The suspect organized the sale of amphetamine and alpha-PVP, for which he engaged accomplices who manufactured, stored and transported the drugs to various countries.
Payment for drugs was made using cryptocurrency, which helped ensure the anonymity of the participants in this illegal business. According to law enforcement officers, the monthly profit from this activity amounted to almost UAH 1.5 million.
In June-July 2024, law enforcement officers recorded the facts of sending drugs through mail across Ukraine. During one of the inspections at the border, 4 kg of Alpha-PVP was discovered and seized.
