According to the latest rating of the popular Speedtest resource, which measures the speed of online connections, it became known that Ukraine occupies one of the last places in the world in terms of mobile Internet.
According to data for June 2024, the country ranks 93 out of 108 measured, with an average speed of 21.24 Mbps. This is 2.5 times lower than the world average, which is marked by insufficient efficiency of the Internet infrastructure on mobile networks in Ukraine.
The fastest mobile Internet in the world is recorded in Qatar - 334.63 Mb/s, and the slowest - in Cuba, with an indicator of 4.02 Mb/s.
The situation with fixed Internet is better: Ukraine ranks 70th among 159 countries with a speed of 80.2 Mb/s. Here the leader is Singapore (285.02 Mb/s), the worst indicator is again in Cuba (2.8 Mb/s).
And yes, we are sure, it is very important for everyone to find out how things are going with the Internet in the occupiers. In the Russian Federation, both indicators are higher, but plus or minus similar to ours: 86th place with 25.6 Mb/s of mobile Internet and 60th place with 87 Mb/s of landline.
