At a meeting on September 25, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved amendments to the Procedure for Organizing and Maintaining Military Registration, approved at the end of 2022. The main innovation is the automatic registration of all men aged 25 to 60 who have not previously been registered without legal grounds.
The Ministry of Defense explained that this will reduce the number of manual operations in territorial procurement centers and will actually eliminate the need to personally visit the TCC for registration.
Thus, data on all such men has already been entered into the unified electronic register of conscripts "Oberig". Everyone can check information about themselves through the "Reserve+" application.
The law provides for a fine of 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias for violating military registration rules. In case of voluntary evasion of the fine, citizens risk having their bank accounts seized.
So far, the Ministry of Defense has not disclosed which information base served as the basis for forming the list of men who were automatically included in the "Oberyg". However, experts remind that the integration of data from state registers was only a matter of time, and now the military registration system is becoming more centralized and controlled.
